Pomegranate Spice Cocktail
Happy (almost) weekend, ya filthy animals! This week, right? More like this month. Or this year. Any way you slice it, the world has definitely been going through a rough patch recently. I don’t know about you, but I’m tired today. And not just I-didn’t-sleep-last-night tired. I’m tired to my bones. I’m experiencing the kind of exhaustion where I could literally lay down on the floor of my office right now and take a nap. It’s that bad.
I stumbled upon this pretty little cocktail as I was procrasti-working earlier this week, and I must say, the concept looks positively charming. You could basically whip this guy together with the ingredients you have in your fridge, and in about 15 seconds you’ll have a delightfully fruity beverage to soothe what ails you. And, added bonus, it’s absolutely delicious. I know, because I made it yesterday and it was the bees knees.
Like all many cocktail recipes, this one comes to you directly from HonestlyYUM and is perfect for the first couple of days of March (almost spring! ALMOST SPRING!). I don’t know about you, but I’ll be drinking this guy and channeling warmer climes all weekend. Recipe below – enjoy!!

1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
6 cardamom pods
